Feedspot is a news aggregation app. You can use it to read articles from websites large and small, from blogs that are well-known or blogs that are relatively obscure. It lets you read everything in one place, but it doesn't stop there: you can back up your feeds of choice onto Dropbox or Evernote, get real-time updates via email, and much more.

There's Good And Bad Out There

Feedspot has a significant array of over 100,000 folders that the feeds you read can go into. These are all categorized, some categories are very general, some categories are very specific. The number of websites people have already read via the service is one of its biggest advantages, but also one of the areas where it is weakest. Though you'll find a lot of content you've never seen before, you may also find that your favourite blogs don't appear (by default!).

Feedspot is potentially a very good app for those who find themselves reading a few articles from a lot of different places each day, and for those who read new articles both at home and on the go. Feedspot's various clients all work reasonably well whether you're reading from a 4K screen at home or on your phone at work. Add to that the service's feature set, and as long as you can already think of reasons you might want to use Feedspot, you probably do.
